Description

A refreshing, nostalgia-inducing dessert made with Orange Crush soda, perfect for summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of Orange Crush soda
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • ¾ cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Pour the heavy cream and whole milk into a mixing bowl. Whisk them together until they’re well combined.
  2. Add the granulated sugar, pinch of salt, and vanilla extract to your cream mixture. Whisk thoroughly until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Incorporate the Orange Crush soda slowly. Mix it gently, being careful not to over-whisk.
  4. Pour your mixture into an airtight container, leaving a little space at the top.
  5. Place the container in the freezer and allow it to freeze for 4-6 hours.
  6. For a creamier texture, stir the mixture every hour during the first few hours of freezing.
  7. Scoop the sherbet into bowls and enjoy!

Notes

Stir the mixture during freezing for creaminess. Can substitute ingredients for dietary needs.
