Description

A creamy, flavorful Cajun-inspired pasta with succulent shrimp and sautéed vegetables. Perfect for cozy dinners or family meals.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or linguine)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. Sauté shrimp with Cajun seasoning in olive oil until pink. Remove shrimp.
  3. Sauté onions, bell peppers, and garlic in butter until tender.
  4. Add heavy cream, paprika, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer 2-3 minutes.
  5. Return shrimp and toss with pasta. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.
