Crispy, cheesy, and golden Parmesan Onion Rings made at home with simple ingredients. Perfect as a side dish or snack.

- 2 medium sweet onions, sliced into ½-inch rings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¾ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
- ½ tsp paprika (optional)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Slice onions and separate rings. Pat dry.
- Prepare bowls: seasoned flour, egg-milk-Parmesan mixture, breadcrumbs.
- Dredge onion rings: flour → egg-Parmesan → breadcrumbs.
- Fry in 350°F (175°C) oil 2–3 mins per side until golden. Or bake at 425°F (220°C) 15–20 mins, flipping halfway. Air-fry at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 mins.
- Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with dipping sauces. Sprinkle extra Parmesan or parsley if desired.
