Description

A cozy, slow-cooked pulled beef sandwich made with tender beef chuck, simple pantry staples, and warm family-style flavors. Perfect for easy dinners, meal prep, or casual gatherings


Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 68 soft buns
  • Optional toppings: pickles, lettuce, mild slaw

Instructions

  1. Place onions and garlic in the bottom of a slow cooker or Dutch oven.
  2. Add beef chuck roast on top.
  3. Mix broth and tomato paste; pour over the beef.
  4. Add brown sugar, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook on low 7–8 hours or until beef shreds easily.
  6. Remove beef, shred with two forks, and return to juices.
  7. Toast buns lightly.
  8. Build your pulled beef sandwich with toppings you enjoy.
