- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 8 oz cooked pasta (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining butter and garlic; cook 30 seconds.
- Stir in broth, lemon juice, zest, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Return shrimp to skillet, toss with sauce, and cook 1 minute.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve over pasta or with bread.
