Description

Savory, cheesy, and buttery salami pinwheels made with puff pastry, perfect for snacks, parties, or cozy family meals. Easy to make with simple pantry ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry (8 oz each), thawed
  • 6 oz salami (beef or turkey), thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry sheets into 10×12 inch rectangles.
  2. Spread cream cheese, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella over each sheet. Arrange salami slices on top, leaving a border. Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian herbs, and black pepper.
  3. Roll the pastry into a log and slice into 1-inch pinwheels. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Brush tops with beaten egg. Bake 15–20 minutes until golden and puffed. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve warm with dipping sauce if desired.
