Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage (beef, turkey, or chicken), sliced or crumbled
  • 4 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 3 cups green beans, fresh or blanched frozen
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 cup milk (whole or low-fat)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: paprika or dried herbs for added flavor

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Sauté sausage and onions in olive oil until cooked.
  2. In a large bowl, mix potatoes, green beans, garlic, cheese, milk, and cooked sausage mixture. Season to taste.
  3. Transfer to a baking dish, cover with foil, bake for 30–35 minutes. Remove foil, bake 5–10 more minutes until golden on top.
