- 1 lb sausage (beef, turkey, or chicken), sliced or crumbled
- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
- 3 cups green beans, fresh or blanched frozen
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 1 cup milk (whole or low-fat)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: paprika or dried herbs for added flavor
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Sauté sausage and onions in olive oil until cooked.
- In a large bowl, mix potatoes, green beans, garlic, cheese, milk, and cooked sausage mixture. Season to taste.
- Transfer to a baking dish, cover with foil, bake for 30–35 minutes. Remove foil, bake 5–10 more minutes until golden on top.
