- 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

- 1/2 medium red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and position the rack in the lower third of the oven.
- 2. Brush a large sheet pan generously with olive oil, making sure to coat the entire surface including corners.
- 3. Stretch the pizza dough to fit the sheet pan, pressing gently from the center outward with your fingertips. Let rest if dough springs back.
- 4. Spread BBQ sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- 5. Distribute the shredded chicken evenly across the sauce-covered dough.
- 6. Sprinkle the mozzarella and smoked gouda cheeses over the chicken, covering all areas.
- 7. Scatter the sliced red onions across the cheese layer.
- 8. Season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 9. Bake for 18 to 25 minutes until the crust is golden brown, cheese is bubbling, and edges are crispy.
- 10. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
- 11. Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro and optional extra BBQ sauce drizzle before slicing and serving.
Notes
Store leftover pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in a 375-degree oven for 10 minutes or in a covered skillet over medium heat for best results.
