- 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 8 oz lump crab meat
- 9 lasagna noodles (no-boil or regular)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 cups whole milk, warmed
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1 cup grated Parmesan
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ⅛ tsp nutmeg (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare seafood: season shrimp and gently fluff crab.
- Make béchamel: melt butter, whisk in flour, add milk gradually, cook until thickened, fold in half the cheese, then seafood.
- Assemble: layer sauce, noodles, seafood mixture, and cheese. Repeat until all ingredients used, finishing with cheese on top.
- Bake covered with foil for 25 minutes, remove foil, bake 15 more minutes until golden.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley and serve.
