- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tbsp butter or ghee
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ cup vegetable or chicken broth
- ¼ cup heavy cream or milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: grated Parmesan, cooked turkey beef, hot sauce
Instructions
- Trim and blanch green beans for 2–3 minutes. Drain.
- Sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic in butter until soft.
- Add Cajun seasoning, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat.
- Combine green beans with sautéed vegetables and pour in broth. Simmer 10–12 minutes.
- Stir in cream and optional ingredients. Cook 2–3 more minutes until sauce thickens.
- Serve warm as a flavorful side dish.
