- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment.
- Mix melted butter with sugars, then whisk in eggs, vanilla, and sourdough discard.
- Fold in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 25–30 minutes.
- Cool completely before slicing and serving.

- For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake and allow full cooling before cutting.
