Description

A rich and fudgy chocolate brownie recipe made with sourdough discard and simple pantry staples.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment.
  2. Mix melted butter with sugars, then whisk in eggs, vanilla, and sourdough discard.
  3. Fold in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into pan and bake for 25–30 minutes.
  5. Cool completely before slicing and serving.
