Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into strips)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • Optional cilantro and lime juice for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by cutting into strips. Coat with the egg wash and flour mixture.
  2. Fry the chicken strips in hot oil until golden and crispy. Set aside.
  3. Make the honey butter sauce by melting butter and adding honey and brown sugar. Drizzle over the chicken.
  4. Prepare the creamy chili dip by mixing cream cheese, sour cream, and chili powder.
  5. Serve the chicken strips with the creamy chili dip and enjoy!
