Brownie Base:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour (sifted)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Cheesecake Layer:
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Strawberry Swirl:
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (chopped)
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Prepare the brownie base by mixing melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Fold in flour, cocoa, and salt, then spread evenly in the pan.
- Beat cream cheese with sugar, egg, and vanilla. Spread over the brownie layer.
- Combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Spoon over cheesecake layer and gently swirl with a knife. Bake for 35–40 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
