Brownie Base:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour (sifted)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Cheesecake Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Strawberry Swirl:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Prepare the brownie base by mixing melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Fold in flour, cocoa, and salt, then spread evenly in the pan.
  2. Beat cream cheese with sugar, egg, and vanilla. Spread over the brownie layer.
  3. Combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Spoon over cheesecake layer and gently swirl with a knife. Bake for 35–40 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
