Description

Soft bread rolled around sweet strawberries and cream cheese, lightly coated in egg and cinnamon-sugar, then cooked to golden perfection. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp butter, for cooking
  • Powdered sugar, optional for serving

Instructions

  1. Spread cream cheese on bread slices, top with sliced strawberries.
  2. Roll tightly, dip in egg mixture, then coat with cinnamon-sugar.
  3. Cook in a buttered skillet over medium heat until golden brown on all sides. Serve warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar.
