Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract into the banana mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the baking powder and then add the flour.
  7. Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it well.
  8. Bake in your preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
  9. Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.

Notes

Use overripe bananas for the best flavor. Avoid overmixing to keep muffins fluffy.
