- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole milk
- Optional: edible pearls or sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with liners. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until combined.
- Fill liners 2/3 full, bake 18–22 minutes, and cool completely. Frost with buttercream and decorate as desired.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
- Frosted cupcakes can be refrigerated up to five days.
