- 12 to 15 Fresh jalapeños
- 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Pepper jack cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black pepper
- Fresh cilantro, optional for garnish
- Beef bacon or turkey bacon, optional for wrapping
- Olive oil, for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Carefully slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise, removing the seeds and membranes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
- Using a spoon, generously fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- If using bacon, wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a piece of beef or turkey bacon and secure it with a toothpick if needed.
- Place the filled jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender and the cheese is bubbling.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
Notes
For a healthier option, replace cream cheese with Greek yogurt and use turkey bacon or omit bacon.
