Description

Quick and delicious cheesy garlic chicken wraps bursting with flavor, perfect for lunch or dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large tortillas (flour or whole wheat)
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
  • Olive oil or cooking spray for grilling

Instructions

  1. Combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, garlic, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Lay out one tortilla on a clean surface. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken mixture onto the center.
  3. Add a handful of fresh spinach leaves for color and nutrition.
  4. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll the tortilla from bottom to top to create a tight wrap.
  5. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and lightly coat it with olive oil or cooking spray. Place the wrap seam-side down into the skillet.
  6. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes on the other side.
  7. Remove the wrap from the skillet and let it rest for a minute before cutting it in half.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley (if using) and serve hot.

Notes

For a vegan version, use jackfruit or tofu, and replace cheese with a dairy-free alternative.
