- ½ teaspoon salt
- Optional: 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch cake pan.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk.
- Fold in the guava pulp until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth out.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
