- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- Optional: sea salt for sprinkling, chopped nuts, or crushed pretzels
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×9 inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
- Combine the graham cracker crumbs, rolled oats, melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Press half of the crumbly mixture into the bottom of your prepared baking pan.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the pressed crumb layer.
- Pour the caramel sauce over the chocolate layer.
- Crumble the remaining mixture over the caramel layer.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before lifting out and slicing.

For healthier options, consider plant-based butter and dark chocolate. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
