Delicious mini grilled cheese Hawaiian rolls filled with melted cheese and infused with garlic butter, perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in.

- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1 ½ cups of shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or a blend)
- ½ cup of butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- Optional: Cooked turkey bacon or beef bacon
- Optional: Fresh herbs like basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a lightly greased baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally while keeping them attached and place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
- Spread a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture on the inside of the bottom halves.
- Evenly distribute the shredded cheese over the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Place the top halves of the rolls back on and brush them with more garlic butter mixture.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for another 5 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Allow them to cool for a few moments before slicing into individual rolls and serving.
Notes
Store leftover rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze them for up to a month.
