Description
Tender pulled beef combined with spices and sauces, served on soft sandwich rolls.
Ingredients
- Beef: 3-4 pounds of chuck roast or brisket
- Onion: 1 large, chopped
- Garlic: 3-4 cloves, minced
- Beef broth: 1 cup
- BBQ sauce: 1-1.5 cups

Instructions
- Sear your beef. Heat a little oil in your pot on medium-high. Season the beef with salt and pepper. Sear all sides until browned (about 4-5 minutes per side).
- Remove the beef and set it aside. In the same pot, toss in the chopped onions and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Mix together the beef broth, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar, and pour it over the meat.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Remove the beef from the pot and shred using two forks until it resembles fluffy strands.
- Mix the shredded beef back into the sauce.
- Serve the pulled beef on sandwich rolls. For an extra touch, toast the buns lightly before assembling.
